These paintings are about life. I began to create these little sunsets and glimpses of light because they remind me about feeling alive. They remind me that its possible and achievable to have that “I belong exactly here in this moment” feeling every day.

That feeling of content- not a jump up and down joy, but the kind of feeling where you close your eyes, breath in the air around you, and sigh because you know that you are exactly where you are meant to be. And in that faith, you find gratitude, which soothes and quiets the mind.
